since this cafe opened a few years ago, i keep coming here for a quick bite, pastry or even a full on meal! this cafe is tucked away in downtown rwc, but a couple blocks away from the busiest part of downtown, so the parking is a bit easier here. this cafe has a venezuelan flair so you can find some traditional menu items such as crepes, arepas and the perico platter. i love all of their pastries, they look so beautifully crafted! i've had both the croissant and seasonal apricot pudding (?) and both were delicious, not overly sweet! my favourite lunch/midday item is their breakfast crepe, which is vegetarian and gluten-free, with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, avocado, gouda cheese, guasacaca, and salt & pepper. this combo is so delicious and the crepe is just so soft it melts in your mouth! the ladies serving us are super sweet and helpful, it does make me feel like going to a second home, a comfort food diner, a mom and pop cafe. already looking forward to my next visit, and pondering which savory and sweet items to get!

This was my first time at Coupa cafe in Redwood City and I have to say it was amazing. The ambiance was your typical coffee shop but more. I could picture myself cuddle into a corner working or reading. Their food was amazing both my partner and I were so surprised by the quality of food. It was fresh and filling. I had the build your own omelette it came with fruit and bread in the side. My partner had a panini it was massive and came with salad on the side. I also ordered a dark hot chocolate and it was pure silk chocolate tasting. It was delicious. I told my partner as we left I wanted to become a regular there.
Excellent, friendly, top-tier customer service! I really appreciate the service from Jesus (I believe this is his name). He is so friendly and pleasant and it makes me happy to tip and spend my money at this establishment. This location is convenient and close to my downtown office, so I will continue to return for my regular order (delicious almond croissant + iced matcha latte).
